Foot care nurses are LPNs or RNs who have completed specialized advanced training in the assessment, prevention and treatment of complex foot and nail conditions. Using sterile tools and sanitary measures, they provide safe and competent care to client's in their homes, long term care, hospitals, clinics and other care settings.
Foot care nurses work with the goal to keep their client's healthy, mobile, independent and pain free.
They are regulated health care providers, therefore the cost of the treatments they provide are tax deductible and qualify for coverage under certain benefit plans.
